WAPHYTO sources its plants from the volcanic Mikawa region in Aichi. Thousands of years of volcanic activity and mineral-rich hot springs make this soil one of the most nutrient-rich in the world. Mulberry leaves, chrysanthemums, gotu kola and mugwort grow here without synthetic additives, cultivated free of chemicals.
